Owning a dog ought to be an absolute joy, but bringing them up in an urban environment can have it's difficulties. The Bearsden Dog Training Club which was founded in 1988, are dedicated to the ethos of responsible ownership of dogs by direct community education. Our courses are open to all dogs over the age of five months old including those with certain disabilities such as deafness.

Our training methods are based on the modern reward based system and our preliminary novice level class sizes are limited to a maximum of eight. We aim to promote dog training in a safe friendly environment, which we do by training owners and educating dogs.

The Bearsden Dog Training Club is a registered charity and has a committed and friendly team of instructors, all of whom are certificated and approved by the West of Scotland Community Dog Training Association. Currently we have five qualified instructors one of whom is a qualified pet behaviorist and we have three more in training.
