School visitations

The club has now been asked to do school visits to educate children in our 'Safety Around Dogs' Campaign.

'D in the Park'

'D in the Park' - a doggy day out.
Bearsden Dog Training Club has been invited, by Glasgow Community and Safety Services, to take part in 'D in the Park'.This will take place on Saturday 6th of September at Netherton Community Centre, 358 Netherton Road, Temple, Glasgow from 12 noon till 4pm. Novelty events, displays,free health checks for dogs,dental checks, plus flea checks and more will be on offer. Grooming and vaccination advice will also will be available
Bring the family for a great day out.
Bearsden will be managing the dog display and competition in partnership with 'Clean Glasgow' campaign.Volunteers from the club are needed to help out on the day.Interested contact Jim Barnes.

The event for a first off was a success thanks to the hard work put in by both Glasgow's Environment Health and B.D.T.C. working in partnership. We hope it will be the first of many.
My personal thanks to all the members who turned up for the display team and those of you who worked hard to make the day what it was a fun day for the kids old and young.
S.C.C.C. Demonstration

Pet Show

Havoc Park fun day

Drymen Show.

Every year in May the Drymen Agricultural Show is held in the fields around Endrick Water. This year (as in other years) the two Jims aka Barnes/Hendry were invited to judge the obedience classes.The sun shone, crowds were up and everyone had a great time.
Vet School Rodeo

The Bearsden Team were called into action on Saturday 22nd May to act as judges in the annual Rodeo at Glasgow's prestigious Veterinary School, for the third year running. In glorious weather a good time was had by all.
